Come join us in our continued efforts to protect the Snoqualmie River!
Do you ever look at our stunningly beautiful river and wonder how you might be able to help the River and the fish and wildlife that depend on her?
The Snoqualmie River is simply too HOT! Numerous government studies and this article “Taking the Temperature of Salmon” document this disturbing fact.
Here is a “hands on” way you can make a difference!!! We need volunteers from June through October, on the second Saturday of each month to measure our River’s temperature.
The data collected will be placed within a yearly report and used to lobby city, state and federal legislatures, as well as educate our local community, about the health of the Snoqualmie River, and most importantly — how we can work together to protect and restore her.
