Thank You Governor Inslee!

Orca Conservancy wishes to thank Governor Inslee for directing the Chehalis Basin Board, the Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the Department of Ecology to move forward with a "basin-wide, non-dam alternative" to the "proposed large scale flood retention project" (dam) on the Chehalis River. We couldn't agree more. If we are to save the SRKWs, we must work to recover salmon, especially Chinook, in the Pacific Northwest. The Chehalis River is an important salmon river in Washington state and empties into Grays Harbor, an important feeding ground for the SRKWs. After reading the letters, be sure to send a quick thank you to Governor Inslee for standing up for SRKWs and the Chinook they so desperately need: Thank You Governor Inslee.
