Puget Sound takes a big step forward towards salmon recovery

APPROVED: Smith Island Restoration Project / Snohomish CountyOrca Conservancy sent the letter below in support of the Smith Island Restoration Project / Snohomish County. This project will directly help revive threatened Chinook salmon in the Puget Sound basin.

Great news! Snohomish County Council voted 4-0 in favor of Ordinance 14-120, authorizing construction of the new setback levee and two large breaches on Union Slough.
