OC Comments on Impacts of the Proposed Temperance Flat Dam (TFD)

Prey depletion is recognized as one of the major threats to the survival and recovery of the endangered Southern Resident killer whale community and rebuilding depleted salmon stocks is listed as a top priority for the population. The proposed Temperance Flat Dam (TFD) would inhibit a portion of Chinook salmon recovery on the San Joaquin River that is vastly needed for the endangered SRKW population.
