2020 Legislative Session | Washington State

The Washington State 2020 Legislative Session started this week. As we move through this years session; here's a list of the bills we will be working on and watching:

HB 2265 - Eliminating exemptions from restrictions on the use of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances in firefighting foam.

HB 2325 - Making 2019-2021 fiscal biennium supplemental operating appropriations.

HB 2324 - Concerning the capital budget.

SB 6027 - Concerning floating residences.

SB 6036 - Providing opportunities for drought mitigation using trust water rights.

SB 6071 - Concerning increased deterrence and meaningful enforcement of fish and wildlife violations.

SB 6273 - Relating to creating an exemption from shorelines substantial development permit requirements for single-family residential protective marine bulkheads; adding a new section to chapter 90.58 RCW; and creating a new section.

SB 6147 - Concerning the replacement of shoreline armoring.

HJM 4012 - Recognizing the international year of the salmon.

SB 5142 - Reducing the greenhouse gas emissions associated with transportation fuels.

HB 2250 - Concerning coastal crab derelict gear recovery.
